Situé au rez de chaussé dans l'aile gauche du château elle est accessible par le grand escalier ou par son accès direct et indépendant donnant sur la terrasse du château,
Cette chambre n'offre pas de vue exceptionnelle sur la campagne environnante étant donné qu'au 13e siècle les ouvertures étaient restreintes afin de se protéger du froid ou de potentielles attaques.
Cependant elle a un charme fou car elle dispose d'un magnifique four à pain/pâtisserie tout en pierre de basalte datant du XIIIe s et d'un parquet en chêne massif exceptionnel.

The General de Castelnau Standard double room
Located on the ground floor close to the dining room, this room is located in the oldest part of the castle (XIIIe)
It has no view on the countrys because of the limited number and small size of the openings due to deliberate archetectural feature tipial from the 13th cecntury. At the time windows were designed to be narrow in order to protect from the cold and potencial threats
therefore it has a very special intimate and sheltered atmosphere characteristic of a medieval architecture.
However it has a private access on the terrasse and an enormous and amazing 13th century breadoven.
It is really charming ! and ideal for couple or single . The wooden floor parquet is very beautifull.
